Quite simply, the Discovery-owned Treehugger is in the mainstream and the big time, the other websites are not.

in the long term, I disagree.
it assumes that permaculture will always be a fringe activity and that media corporations like Discovery (Discovery Communications is traded on NASDAQ) will be the dominant institution in the future.
permaculture should become the mainstream and dominant form, and corporations should be transitioned to democratic multi-stakeholder worker-cooperatives
